Nowadays, audio editing has become a very popular activity. That's because the number of audio editing software is growing more and more and also their simpleness, allowing all types of users to use them without problems. An audio editor can be useful if you have a song that doesn't sound right or if you have an audio recording that includes commercials and the beginning of it that requires trimming. Whatever the needs are, an audio editor is always a good idea. Such a software is Dexster Audio Editor. It's an audio editor that can handle a large number of audio formats and can apply different effects to them, without limiting to this.

The installation procedure shouldn't pose problems to any user, as it's a straightforward process that completes in matter of seconds. Most versions of the Microsoft operating system, Windows, are supported, ranging from XP to Windows Vista and 7. Compared to other similar programs, the system requirements are extremely low.

The interface of Dexster Audio Editor is very easy to use, as it includes graphical buttons for most of the program's options. These options can be also accessed using the classical drop-down menu. The number of audio formats the user can import into the software is quite impressive and covers all the most often used audio formats. After having the desired audio file imported into the program, the user can manipulate it thoroughly. Thus, he can apply different effects to it, like fade, compress, invert normalize but can also apply some filters, some of them being able to correct the pops and clicks found in some old audio recordings, making them sound like new.

Dexster Audio Editor doesn't limit to editing a wide range of audio formats, it can also extract tracks from audio CDs and can also burn audio CDs out of audio files. It can even extract audio from videos, which is a good idea if you have videos saved on the hard disk. More audio files can be merged, creating a large mixed audio file, with the help of Dexster Audio Editor.

The software has the ability to reduce vocals from any song, making it great for using in karaoke. After editing them, the user can save the songs in a wide range of audio formats, each of them having its own quality settings.

Pros

It supports a wide range of audio formats for importing and for saving, each of them having its own settings. Besides that, it includes numerous audio effects and filters that can be applied to audio files. Last but not least, it includes an audio CD extractor, for saving tracks as audio files and an audio CD burner, for creating audio CDs out of sound files. Dexster Audio Editor is an audio editor that manages to stay on top of other similar programs, due to the large number of audio formats and effects supported.
